The mount itself is very sturdy. I’m confident that anything that is attached up top is not going anywhere. In motion the system is so secure, any road vibrations will be transmitted up through the mounting poll.The lower bracket is designed to be universal, but in being universal there’s a lot of unnecessary, and extra bulk. On Tundra seat mounts, there’s really not a good way to square it up. Also depending on how you want the pool to sit, you could potentially block the easy removal and replacement of paint tray style floor mats.This is the third RAM product I’ve ordered of late, the smaller kits have the product individually wrapped so it’s not a big issue. Aside from mounting hardware, all the parts in this kit were just loosely thrown into a big bag. The lower mounting bracket, the pole, the upper screw on ball mount, all arrived damaged. Even the clamp arm was scratched up and looked as though a file had been run down the side of it. It’s a little disappointing at this price point to have that much damage, and none of the items secured or even individually wrapped inside of a large retail display bag.
