It's touted as a universal mount, like a one size fit t-shirt it won't work for all but the reason for 3 stars is there is no solution for my particular vehicles and I suspect there are many more GM vehicles it won't work with.This is designed to be mounted using the front seat bolt in your vehicle but apparently some new GM vehicles don't have front seat bolts … yep that is a correct statement. GM has designed seats that lock into a mount in the front and are only bolted down in the back, at least the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon.Compared to another version with an apparently plastic mount, this model is very durable. The mount can be tricky and the included spacers could have one or two more thicknesses but with some finagling can be made to fit.The mount is robust, secure and easily adjusted. I used it to mount a ham radio control head and the install appears professional.Not too sturdy, but it is a "No drill" mount. I think I might end up taking this out of my vehicle and put it in my wifes vehicle. I may end up ordering something different, but this does the job for now.Not super easy to install. But when it is in it is pretty good.This is a great mount. It required some modification to attach to a seat bolt in my Honda CR-V, but it easily supports my iPad without moving, even when I'm driving across rough roads.Fit perfectly into my truck. Makes my job much easier by not holding an iPad all day.Was not a good fit for a 2009 F350 retrunedSolid product, installs easily, works well: I use it for off-road mapping and my tablet hardly moves at all, regardless of how rough the terrain is and how hard I hit it.
