Like the title says almost a perfect fit. The diameter of my wheelchair frame was just little bit smaller than the largest diameter of the diameter of the ball clamp. I was able to grind the flats where the two clamps come together making a nice tight fit. Holds the weight of my full frame, .40 S&W M&P.Works as it should without fail. Over a year installed and still no adjustments needed.I use a quad lock for my phone mount while riding my motorcycles 2013 Victory Cross Country and a 2021 Indian Challenger. I installed Kst Komanche bars on my Challenger and had a tough time coming up with a phone mount for 1.5inch bars…well enter this ram mount paired with the1inch ball shorty and the quad lock ball mount…I’m free as I need to be to check my phone as it gos off while I rideIf you have 1.5" bars on your bike and need a 1" RAM ball, this one works well.Much preferred over the u-bolt clamp that came with the X-GripIt was a bit of work to get the screws to catch the nut but after that it secured to my handlebars very well.I'm mounting different rokform phone mounts on bikes, this works great.Sorry for the dramatic title but as you can see in my photo either the description is wrong or I was shipped the wrong part. I don't have my caliper handy but the ball is 1.5". Definitely not 1" so the rest of my mount set-up that I ordered is pointless unless I can find an adapter.That said, the mount is rugged and well designed although it would be nice if the locknuts were locked into the base so they couldn't drop out if they manage to get loose.The clamp fits the thick portion of my BMW handlebar (1.25") perfectly with the thinner of the included spacers. The included 3M adhesive rubber strip helps keep the clamp from rotating or shaking.The item that I received is not the one in the picture. The picture is of a smooth, well-painted clamp, with a relatively nice design. As per the pictures what I received was a rough casting, and the ball is not rubber, as per the description, it's painted metal.I've contacted RAM to see if this is a genuine product, but if it is, it's clearly not the one that it was advertised as.Wanted a neater alternative to the usual RAM mount U bolt. Fits nicely on the handlebar of My Triumph Explorer without the usual exposed bolts. Satnav / phone sorted.This particular Ram mount does exactly as stated and required for my Garmin Zumo 660. Secured in the perfect position, to read and or adjust, on my oversized handlebars Yamaha Roadstar Silverado XV1600.Thank you MFits wellReally happy with handlebar clamp
