Did the job perfectly. Although it was smaller than the other RAM mount that I have it did the job perfectly fine.Used this on my boat for my Garmin. I use a lot of ram products and they are great quality. This one is also awesome and works perfectly….To mount a hydrowaveShipped fast. Solid unit. Was heavier than I expected.Much larger and heavier than imagined. One end is scratched and appears to have been grabbed with a pair of plyers or something scratching and gouging the metal. When loosening the bolt, one end opens allowing easy movement, but the other end is still stiff making adjusting the end you want to adjust difficult.I had to drill 2 holes in bracket to get my helix 7 humminbird to mount to it . This is disappointing considering the ad stated it was compatible.Sturdy mount, exactly what I needed to use my fishfinder on the lake.Actually pretty surprised with the sturdiness of this mount. I mounted a 7" display unit to it and it does not move even while running a heavy chop in a flat bottom boat....I had this mount with 1" balls on my Garmin chart plotter. Its a little bit too heavy for them and it would slowly slip and the balls were starting to deform from being cranked down on so tight. I bought the one with the 1.5" balls and now its rock solid. One thing I noticed though. I paid $68.99 for it, and now a few days later the price is over $105....price gouging for sure. The 1.5" mount is nice, but its not worth $105 and change in my opinion. Wait until the price comes down or buy it somewhere else.product seemed very good.. just wasn't able to use it with my Helix 7 MSI. Only 2 holes lined up and i would have drilled 2 but felt they would be right on the edge so i returned mine and ordered one specific for the helix 7Fast delivery and good qualityGreat for a 9" fishfinder. Holds tight, easy to move or adjust.Worked perfect for my Lowrance Elite Ti2 9” Fish Finder! Couldn’t be happier! Mounts easily in minutes. Also seems to be made of solid materials and should last a while
