RAM Mounts RAM-HOL-UN10BU X-Grip Large Phone Holder with 1" Ball - Secure Mount for Smartphones in Cars, Motorcycles, and Bikes

So I have used this for 2 years now on my 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS. It's mounted on a ball-joint in the middle of my bar front fork. I used it with a Samsung Galaxy s9+ for about 19 months, then an s22 when I traded that phone in. The X-mount works perfectly, but there are a few caveats that people need to know about. For one, the small rubber grips on the end of each claw are removable, and by that I mean over time they easily pop right off. The fit super tight initially, but after having the bike sit in the sun over time the grip adhesive loosens quite a bit. They still fit well, but when adding and removing your phone, those seem to come off pretty easily. Second is the floppy grip tether that you pull up around the corners of your phone to really secure it. That lasted almost 2 years. I was riding home from work when one of the corners just snapped off. As I'm riding on the highway I see it broke and my phone is about to pop off. Hard to do, steer a motorcycle on the highway with one hand while stopping. As I was pulling my phone off, another corner breaks. Luckily they're only like $6 for more, but that is worrisome.Added this to my existing Ram mount for use in our motorhome. Using it with my IPhone13 for navigation and so far it’s worked as advertised. Like the Ram mount systems! ?Good product.These are well made, universal, easy to use, and do a good job holding my phone. I have one on my ADV bike, one on my four wheeler, one on my street bike, and one in my Jeep.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these mounts.While the rubber tether breaks due to the size of my phone, this mount does a good job of holding my Galaxy.I'm on my second mount as the first one broke at the ball (probably due to vibration.) I reached out to RAM and received a brand new replacement thanks to the warranty. The customer service from RAM alone will bring me back to their product again and again.Mounted this on my MT-07, i have a Pixel 4a 5g, the arms want to land right on my power button/ volume up button, i must very carefully place the arm between them so they dont get pressed, and seems tp very rarely move once set, my camera vibrates alot while hooked up, hopefully it doesnt break, but the rubber band piece on the back did snap after my 3rd use, have a replacement on the way, good mount though.Worked great for my application.This is my second Ram mount holder. Sold my other that was attached to my bike. This one is installed on my bass boat. Works great!I have this, admittedly none too pretty device securing my iPhone 8+ to my motorbikes. The grip is tenacious and even given the violent forces produced by modern 150+bhp bikes, it leaves you in doubt the phone will remain where you put it. Don't even think about aesthetics unless you don't mind seeing your £1000 iPhone smashed onto the road behind you! Also, don't forget you still need to select a suitable length arm and a mounting clamp for the handlebars. This item is just the X shaped device with a ball on the back.On the whole Ram stuff is expensive but I haven't found anything that comes close in convenience and sturdiness. The mount itself is a little stiff and difficult to operate with one hand but that also means the phone isn't going anywhere. I have this mounted on my Motorbike, I've dropped the bike, taken it down dirt tracks and my phone hasn't budged. Great product, now recommending them to everyone I know.Great phone holder. Easily holds my iPhone 7 Plus in my otter box case. Came with super glue to keep the rubber feet in place. Strong hold. Two hand operation to get phone in and out with ease but with some finesse you can get it out with one hand. Once your phone is in it, it won’t come out. Used it mountain biking, trail riding and jumping (even stayed intact after a pretty significant crash) also used it in my pathfinder during off-roading. Be aware it is a bit bulky but I don’t mind knowing my phone isn’t going anywhere.This works fine as a holder, and the arms are positioned so that an iPhone 11 fits in nicely and seems secure. However, this is the third holder I have had, the first RAM holder, and the only one in which my phone's camera broke. Having looked around the internet subsequently I can see that this is not an infrequent occurrence, so it's really about time RAM did something about it. I'll be buying a (far cheaper) alternative from China, as I have never had a problem with one of those breaking my phone.I thought the price of the RAM mount parts that I needed for my Ninja 400 were pretty high and maybe even overpriced, but I have to admit I'm really impressed with the quality. This X grip is stronger than you'd expect, fits my OnePlus 5T perfectly and I have had no isses at all in the rides I've had with it, I would say it's worth every penny. Solid and secure mount, highly recommended.
