I highly recommend the ram products. The only way to go. Not the cheapest but by far the best. You get what you pay for. Spend a few extra $$$. They’re worth it instead of that cheap junk that’s out there. I use ram on all my toy’s and even my truck. It raises my gps fish finder up higher, but it is not as sturdy as I expected.Easy to installDid exactly what I expected it would.Easy to install. Very strong and stable.This item is very strong but once you loosen the wingnut to adjust your fish finder monitor the bottom of the ball mount holding the monitor to your kayak also loosens. Don't let go of your fish finder monitor until you know the wing nut is tight. Would have been better made if a separate wing nut was used for the bottom ball mount instead of one that loosens everything.I’m probably writing this review very early, but I like this Mount. I can adjust my fish finder very easy. Time will tell on the durability, but it looks as if it will last.We have a Garmin 7sc fish finder and had installed it on the dash of our pontoon boat which worked “ok”, however the traditional mount was a little too low for my liking. Purchased the Ram 2 1/2” mount, and installed it today. Works perfectly!! High enough the steering wheel doesn’t affect the view anymore, and also have the option of turning the screen in any direction. I’d highly recommend this unit, as Ram builds quality products. Ottima la fattura si vede che è veramente made in usa però è piccolo, molto piccolo.va bene per un fishfinder da 5', da 6' forse visto il peso di questi strumenti nuovi. poi in barca con i colpi non so...comunque è robusto e in metallo. se dovete mettere un navigatore piccolo o una radio vhf /cb può andare, io lo ho preso per un radar da 7' e sinceramente non lo userò. spero che amazon importi direttamente l'oggetto in modo da garantire ancora il servizio prime ed il risparmio, ne avrei presi tre per lo stesso prezzo....The order came next day on time white no issues however the unit will not line up with my helix 5 fishfinder. Only 1 hole lined up and I am not comfortable to drill 3 more I may end up returning this itemThe fish finder is now above my stearing wheel and is visible to the trolling motor on the rear of the boat.
