Accidentally bought for my Mini 5. Was soooo close in size and much cheaper than the version for the Mini 5, so... I got a torch and heated up the curved tab and stretched it out just a little bit. Now it fits perfectly. The tab has a little wheeled rolling pin that helps snap in the edge of the ipad and snatches it in place very firmly. Unfortunately, the mount is fitted for the IPad alone, so you cannot use it with a cover or case. I don't mind as I just leave it in the mount between flights as it's safe and secure. The RAM suction cups are so over built, there is no way it's coming unstuck from the windshield, EVER! At least not until YOU release it. As a CFII I love how easy it is to release the cup and remount in the next plane. There are others out there but RAM has got it nailed! SO worth the little extra money for absolute security of my IPad investment.
